Life is sink or swim
Yet It’s not how we all begin,
Our Parents teach us the ropes
As we find a way down the slopes.
Not an easy task
But to what end do we ask,
Do we grow only to breed
Or to spread wisdom in our seeds
A world of peace & love over rules
Classes never taught during school
We learn the lessons set out in stone
We hear the rest on our own
So what do we teach as they get old
The world is safe until the lies unfold
It’s a hostile place that we hear
It shouldn’t be a place our children fear

Awwww! Whenever you have time would be great. I think you’ll be able to relate to some if not all of them…
