You may be gone
And my words can’t measure,
How your love became
My greatest treasure.
Those who have passed
Will never go away,
They walk beside us
Every day.
A branch fell
From the family tree,
An ache began
Inside of me,
You are at peace
And now you can rest.
The time spent together
Will always be blessed.
When I look for you now
I look to the skies.
You are in space
Where you rise,
Brightly shining
As a star,
You are never close
But you’re never far.
When I am down
And I shed a tear
I know you are watching
As I feel you near,
Life goes on
I felt pain.
But one day,
We’ll be together again.
K
Brought a tear to my eyes. Memories of people I have lost. Beautiful poetry.

This line just captures up the cruelty and the process of nature and life. A tragic line. Does that tree suffer? It has found a way to re create life and comes back season after season. Humans have words to heal suffering. I really love this. Beautiful words xxxx
