The sun sets
After a burning day,
Admiring the last glimpse
Of its Intoxicating rays.
As music dances
Through the air,
A gentle breeze
Caresses my hair.
A busy day
Is now laid to rest,
Feet are up
With a book to digest.
Moments like these
mean so much,
A little piece of paradise,
That I can touch.

Good to know…no need to act or pretend, that you have a friend, a kind soul that makes your day, accepts you as you are, enjoy your touch of heaven.

Sounds delightful. Quite the beautiful image you’ve shared. I don’t know if it’s me being sleepy but the rhymes are so gentle and the context so relaxing that it has a very calming vibe. Anyway, enough rambling from me…Lovely piece!!
