Natural healer…

Music flowing, through the air,
Your dancing around, without a care
So many sounds, and different beats,
Shouting out loud, whilst tapping your feet,

Music can, make you a star,
it won’t judge you, for who you are,
Familiar songs, taking you to time & places,
Dancing with friends, & unfamiliar faces.

Lost within a moment, feeling the ecstasy,
Natural reaction, never taught in chemistry,
Feeling the rhythm, & letting it spread,
Singing out words, replaying in your head.

Car karaoke, whilst you drive,
Not having a care, your feeling alive,
A love for music, & songs we always repeat,
It’s something to hold closer, to our own heartbeat.

What a difference a day makes
    Twenty-four little hours
Brought the sun and the flowers
Where there used to be rain….

A song that means a lot to me…long may you be in tune

The beat goes on, your feet must move,
They have no choice, they’re in a groove,
You close your eyes, you twirl around,
You leave this world, with feet on the ground.

  4. I love how you create rhyming poems like a pro 🙂 You’re a lot more talented at poetry than I am; I sometimes get writer’s block whenever I try to come up with a new poem.
