Release..

Spread your
words,
across my
skin,
Allow it to release,
your pain
within,
Darling It’ll not hurt,
so please
exhale
Watch the ink glide,
as you write
your tale,
Writing has a way
To heal
A heart,
The hardest task,
Is knowing
Where to
Start.
However dear,
Once it begins,
words come fast,
A story to hold
Stories that’ll
Last.

As yet not sure if writing heals a heart, but yes there are stories deep in there to be found, to be released in some way, the laying on of hands, as it happens that’s how mine started …

Words are so transformative. They can give life or death. A word at the right moment can intervene and make the difference between a life merely lived, and a life worth living.
