Storm brewing…

I’ll show you
What it means,
To be devoured.
My soul
And mind,
Isn’t for a coward.
If you can brave
My storm,
I pray,
You can handle
The way I perform.
As i hope
You can handle my tide,
The waves are rough
But it’s one hell of a ride.

Had to come back and read this one again. I really love the assertiveness, the certitude of it and it’s open to interpretation.

  10. I love how confident this is. I am me and you better be ready for all the wonder that I am. It’s got a very attractive aspiration quality to it. Brilliant poem!!
