Complex life…

I’ve spent
My whole life,
Not finding
A way in,
But finding
A way out,
Living in silence
How to shout.
Looking for
Any meaning,
Giving responses
Without any
Losing myself
Within a crowd,
The voices
In my head
Party too loud.
Screaming inside
With a smile
On my face,
Hiding in the
Trying to find
My place.
Life is complex,
And words
Can’t be found,
I’ve experienced lots
Most is profound.
Building myself,
To transform,
So when life gets hectic
I’ll always perform.

Works well with short phrase-type lines. But, watch out for your ‘to/too’ usage. G:)

You build yourself to perform, even when inside you don’t feel it. Perhaps, one day faking it will become real and you will have found your place “in” and a place you are happy. Well written poem.
