Eye opener..

We hate what you did
And that you’re alive,
When we’re just living
To survive.
Turning our life’s into hell,
Remembering every moment
That we fell.
Not that you’ll remember
Or that you care,
We was once your daughter’s
You put through despair.
You Snatched away
Childhood and dreams,
But you act like the victim
So it seems.
We’re still here
Which you forgot,
All the abuse you delivered
The words you shot.
You taught us
The meaning of hate,
Through a broken love
You chose to violate.
We’re very different now
Do we enter your mind?
Thanks for your lessons,
We’re no longer blind.

  5. This is provocative and liberating in a way. The power of the piece is the collective ‘we’ – strengh in numbers and all that jazz πŸ™‚ . We are no longer blind – great poem.
