I’ve left pieces of me
At places,
With the people I love.
I can’t remember
Where all these pieces went,
I’ve loved quite a lot.
But with each new day
The pieces I’ve lost are returned,
With new loves
And new places.
I’ll always give my heart
All of it,
Every single part.
All I ask in return
Is for the happiness of another,
To live, love and learn.
