Sparkle..

Stars shine,
My dear please
I don’t shine
I sparkle!
Like diamonds
In the night,
Leading out darkness,
Into the light.
Because deary,
I’m not like the rest
I’m slightly odd
I don’t shine
For no man
No creature
Or no god.
But I sparkle
for myself.
