I don’t have this in my life.
I don’t have anyone I’d give myself for.
I really want to experience this, it’s something that’s been part of my life a few times but I’m usually told I’m not required.
I really like this piece but I think it does something different for me. This is more aspirational wanting to be the guardian and feeling inadequate that im not.
Regardless of my interpretation it’s a fantastic piece

That was my very first thought as I was reading, I bet this is about your nephews.
As I’m getting old I’m getting a tad broody and I’d love a child of my own. I just need to trick a pretty girl into having my child. It’s much harder that I thought it would be 😄

wow you’re keyboard is terrible. It’s intermittently making you type a 5 when you hit 2. You need to get that looked at young lady. Just think what would happen if you met the man who you wanted to trick and you tried to steal his phone number but took it down wrong because of a keyboard fail.

Is that actually a thing? I’ve never seen that happen in real life.
Although I did have a few occasions where I used a fake name on introductions but it was a nickname and was done to make my then friends laugh. The girls never got the joke. Nor were they interested in me to begin with so why not entertain myself. Ahahaha!!!!

I read this and remembered my boys. Granted, they are 23 and almost 28, but this is what I feel even now. When my youngest had his birthday last weekend and was very sick, I wanted to rush back to his side and take care of him. (of course, he wanted that, too!!!) this would make a lovely picture book for kids.
