The fallen don’t fly

There’s no way out
I’m stuck here hiding
With me & my doubt,
I’m blinded by the light
Struck by the darkness
Hiding in the night.
It’s a soothing darkness
It hides the shadows
It drowns the madness.
Yet i let time flicker by
I’m questioning the past
And why I didn’t die.
There’s faults in my code
That’s why I carry
Each and every load.
I feel it all
Every single day,
Each blow & every fall.
Yet I’m here now
The angels won’t let me die,
I’ve told them before
The fallen can’t fly.

There’s faults in my code and The fallen can’t fly – are dark, eloquent and offer key revelations. Risking the eternal for the temporal.

I realised anew how I cringe from criticism. How lame my words are and how I work to craft them, and yet they fall flat on their lower cases. I tried to go back over my posts and see what needed fixed. It was too great and then I wrote another one! Ridiculous-Your words are logical parallels.
