Ghost of myself

I’m a ghost to myself
And those around,
None can see me walk
This haunting ground.
I am camouflaged
In this lonely town,
They can’t help me here
As I suffocate & drown.
No touch I can feel
They ignore my words,
I scream in this crowd
My voice can’t be heard.
Alone in this dimension
Invisible to existence,
I can’t connect to them
Through all the resistance.
I look in from the outside
And watch time pass by,
They walk through me
As I’m Invisible to the eye.

    A spectral vision,
    For those who can see.
    There’ll be no collision
    Between you and me.
    I see you are frantic,
    So just turn around.
    I’m not so pedantic,
    I’ll wipe off your frown.
    This new world is different,
    So try to adapt.
    By working together,
    We’ll make a new map.
    Perhaps we’ll find other’s
    Caught in this same plane,
    We’re sisters and brothers
    And not so insane.
