Past lives in the present

I fell through lightening
With broken wings,
Landed in a country
Of queens and kings.
Thrown into the ring
Like a bitch on heat,
Getting knocked down
To land on my feet.
Turning into a monster
I had to survive,
I was not born evil
I was not born alive.
Times have passed
I remember my face,
The face of a girl
With anger & grace.
Today stands a women
Young and wise,
Innocent and sweet
Until you see her eyes.
