Darkest miles

My train of thought
Slips from the rails,
As I sit and think
About irrelevant details.
Anxiety takes hold
And the floor sinks,
The world spins
As my mind thinks.
Please don’t approach
I’ve forgot my name,
It’s a pathetic state
Followed by shame.
Anxiety walks me
Into insane cycles,
Only to be explained
As monstrous Bibles.
People will only see
Laughter and smiles,
They don’t see me walk
The darkest miles.
