We are one species
Split by Countries,
As politics divides us
Between the armies.
We wave our flags
For kings and queens,
& socially conform
As part of the machine.
Showing our passports
We’re nothing but codes,
We can’t travel free
As we tax the roads.
Taking a few lives
As we can’t share oil,
Fight the same fight
For nothing but soil.
Please take a minute
And let’s us not forget,
We’re not just Countries
